其他情况下，句式结构如下：

顾名思义，一般过去时描述过去发生了的事情或动作。

过去进行时则表示在过去某一段时间里，持续性的事件或反复发生的动作。

小贴士

like, hate, feel, hear, know, was等表示心理、感觉和状态的动词经常用于一般过去时，不用于过去进行时:

• I hated him very much. I was hating him very much. X

• I knew about it yesterday. I was knowing about it yesterday. X
