Green and Efficient Transportation: Traffic Intelligence is Coming True
仔细想想，老百姓最关心的衣食住行四大金刚中，变化最大的无疑是行了。不说上海目前的运行公里数已位居世界第一，给出行的人带来极大便利的地铁，也不说上海这些年来为方便老百姓出行打通断头路所取得的成果（近三年来就打通区域范围内近40公里断头路），仅以上海这十年来利用信息化、大数据平台构建的智能交通体系方面所取得的进步就能说明问题。譬如：道路交通状态指数及示范应用关键技术、基于大数据的流量管理系统和协同决策平台、面向移动服务的智能交通信息平台研究以及上海市公交智能调度系统综合集成示范应用研究等。
Among the basic necessities of life: food， clothing， shelter and means of traveling， four basic needs that everybody concerns， transportation undoubtedly undergoes the most changes. It is well-known that the current operating mileage of Shanghai ranks first in the world. Shanghai Metro has brought great convenience to the public. Achievements were made over the years to get through broken roads in order to have a good transport service (nearly 40 km broken roads were connected within the region in the last three years). Besides all of these achievements mentioned above， in the past decade， Shanghai has made significant progresses in building intelligent transportation system by using information technology and big data platforms， for example: traffic status index(TSI)， demonstration and application of key technologies， the flow management system and collaborative decision-making platform based on big data， and Shanghai centralized bus smart scheduling system’s application and demonstration， etc.
尽管以上有些还处在研究阶段，但现在通过公交站点的显示屏或手机了解下一班车的到达时间、路况及是否拥堵等信息都已经能做到。可以说，这十年上海在方便市民出行这一块最大的变化之一就是构建起全市域范围智能化程度更高、系统协调性更强的公共交通网络。
Although some of the above—mentioned issues are still under research， it is now possible to know about the arrival time of the next bus， whether there is a congestion and other information through the bus station’s display screen or individual’s mobile phone. It is suggested that one of the biggest changes in improving the transportation convenience for Shanghai residents in the past ten years is building a more smart and coordinated public transport network within the city.
此外可圈可点的是上海在新能源汽车的研发推广方面积十年之力已有实质性的进步，在实施智能汽车战略上已有布局，车联网驾乘系统也已上线。(www.xing528.com)
In addition， new energy vehicles R ＆ D and promotion in Shanghai has made substantial progress with ten years’ effort. The layout of smart car strategy and the vehicle network system has also been released.
面向未来，上海要建成具有全球影响力的科创中心和现代化国际大都市，必须以构筑国际大都市一体化交通为目标，在绿色便捷交通之路上不断前行，推动城市交通在新起点上实现新发展。
Embracing the future， Shanghai is going to become a scientific and innovative center and modern international metropolis of global influence. Aiming at building an integrated traffic， Shanghai must move forward along the road of green and convenient transportation， and promote urban transportation to achieve further development at a new starting point.
