1）申请总量排名居前十的技术专题
从各件专利的IPC统计情况看，VR领域的专利主要集中在G06F-003/01、G06T-019/00和G02B-027/01三个小组分类上。下表列出VR领域专利文献前10个主要IPC小组分布情况及相应的技术发明内容。

2）近年技术热点分析
对VR领域的专利申请进行统计可见（如图7-6），2014年以前，各个主要IPC小组的专利数量都相差不大，基本上各个小组的年度申请量都维持在几十项的水平。直至2015年开始，G06F-003/01分类的专利出现了较为快速的增长，这些专利主要集中在VR装置的人机交互方式上，例如电脑对手势动作的判别和成像的显示方法等。

1）主要研发机构基本情况
以专利申请项数为序，将本技术领域的主要专利申请人统计如下表：

2）专利申请增长较快的机构
在排名靠前的10家企业中，美国的微软和韩国的三星电子的申请量较多（见图7-7），尤其是微软公司，在2009年就有了较多的专利申请，而且近年的年均申请量已接近100项。

从统计结果看，VR领域的技术话语权主要还是集中在美、日等国家，国内未有任何企业或研究机构进入前十位之列。从专利家族的最早申请年看，我国大陆企业在VR领域的专利布局较迟，在2010年才见有个别高校和科技型企业开始相关专利申请。
（3）十大高价值核心专利
采用专利价值评价体系对VR领域的专利文献进行评估，得到该领域得分最高的10件高相关度基础专利，如表7-4所示。在这10件专利中，所有专利的专利权均属美国企业或个人，这说明美国在VR领域的研究实力。其中，既有全球软件行业的龙头微软公司，也有全球智能移动终端的领头苹果公司。
值得指出的是，与其他技术领域类似，这10件基础专利中也有部分专利被专门从事专利运营的公司所持有，例如有一件发明专利的专利权人是美国的INTELLECTUAL VENTURES（高智公司），说明这一技术领域也有较高的市场价值。
