2015年澳大利亚的菲利普盖瑞夫妇俩，在上海期间，专门到位于上海长宁区的紫笋苑品茗，为的是了解中国的茶文化。为此他专门写了一篇文章介绍他在紫笋苑的真实体验。全文如下。
我十分荣幸能够有机会向大家推荐陈明楼先生和他最欣赏的一款茶：紫笋茶。大概是在2015年10月，我和我的太太第一次应邀去陈先生的茶室做客，陈先生非常热情好客，他请我们品尝了各种传统的中国茶饮和点心，还详细演示讲解了独特的中国茶道的各种礼仪和习俗。我们就是在那时了解到紫笋茶。这款茶与我之前知道并喝过的中国茶很不一样：初尝时清香淡雅，越喝越觉得其香醇清甜。几年之后，我与太太在上海举行了婚礼；当时我有很多澳大利亚的亲友与我们一起来到中国庆祝我们的婚礼，他们都想去一处中国的“世外桃源”。我当时就想起了陈先生曾经提到过的产紫笋茶的古茶山，便提出请他带我们去看一看。没想到他欣然答应了。
说起中国，大多数澳大利亚人立即会想到中国的长城、长江，巍巍山峦竹林密布泉水叮咚。我夫人的故乡上海是一座国际化大都市，虽然现代且繁华，但却无法使我的朋友们接触到他们心目中的“中国”。而正是这次长兴紫笋古茶山之旅弥补了我们的缺憾，让我和朋友们带着对中国和中国茶文化的怀念尽兴而归。我极力推荐此次的旅行，也借此机会向陈明楼先生表示深深地感谢！

To be given the opportunity to recomm end Mr.Minglou Chen and his favourite“Zisun Tea”is an honour.My wife and I were guests of Mr.Chen in October 2015.Mr.Chen demonstrated wonderful hospitality while serving traditional tea.The unique Chinese ceremony was explaining in details，accompanied with various little delicate local snacks.It was there we first came to know Zisun Team(www.xing528.com)
This tea is so different from any of the Chinese tea we had tried before.It was light and gentle at first，but after a while you can feel its richness and sweetness.A few years later，my wife and I hosted our wedding party in Shanghai.A few of my friends travelled from Australia to congratulate us.They wanted to go kind of“Getaway”place in China.I immediately thought of the ancient Zisun tea plantation once mentioned by Mr.Chen.It was then I asked Mr.Chen whether he would like to take us there，and I was so happy he said yes without a second thought.
To most Aussies，the image of China is either the Great Wall，the Yangtze River，or big mountain ranges covered with bamboo forest and decorated with little streams...My wife’s hometown is Shanghai，which is an international metropolis.Although it is extremely rich and modern，it offers little of China really represents to my friends.However，the trip with Mr.Chen to the Zisun Tea plantation had totally made up for it.We left China with deep respect and remembrance of China and its tea culture.I can’t recommend this trip enough，and thank Mr.Chen enough for such great experience.
