宁波简称“甬”，自古不乏能工巧匠、和声乐弦。甬上风物勾勒出宁波的城市风情、生活习俗、地域性格和文化基因。各种民间文学、传 说信仰、饮食习惯、职业分工清晰地诠释着宁波先民在长期生活、生产过程中与自然之间所达到的和谐发展的理念和智慧，揭示名城文化的根 基和韵味，为今人留存下地域文化生态不断演化与进步的真实记忆。宁波现有已公布的各级非物质文化遗产项目402个，其中国家级14项，省级 48项，市级123项。非遗传承人：国家级5位，省级50位，市级38位。
Ningbo， usually called Yong for short， has developed numerous skillful craftsmen and splendid music since ancient times. The sceneries and products represent the customs and characters of Ningbo， while all kinds of folklores， traditional beliefs， food habits and division of works interpret Ningbo ancestors' ideas and wisdoms accumulated from Iiving with the nature， reveal the roots and charms of Ningbo culture， and memorize the evolvements and developments of local culture for today and future. Up until now， Ningbo has announced 402 Non-material Cultural Heritages protected at different levels among which there are 14 of national level， 48 of provincial level and 123 of municipal level， with 93 Non-Material Cultural Heritage's Successors among which there are 5 of national level， 50 of provincial level and 38 of municipal level.
