New Ways for Indoor Air Pollution Control

随着我国国民经济的快速发展,大气污染情况日趋严重,雾霾经常笼罩着各个城市,严重影响人们的日常生活。据统计:近年来华南地区出现雾霾的天数占全年的50%左右,华东地区(以上海为代表)占61%,华北地区更是高达75%,空气污染已成为常态化问题。

With the rapid development of national economy, air pollution is becoming more and more serious, and various cities are often shrouded by smog, seriously interfering with people’s daily lives. According to the statistics, in recent years, smog appears in South China for about 50% of the whole year; in East China (represented by Shanghai) the number is 61% while in North China as high as 75%. In conclusion, air pollution has become a pervading problem.

雾霾是由可吸入颗粒物二氧化硫氮氧化物组成,其中可吸入颗粒物是最主要的污染物,而PM2.5是可吸入颗粒物中对人体危害最大的成分,由于其直径小于等于2.5微米——相当于东方人头发丝直径的1/35——能够穿透人体的呼吸系统而直接进入肺部深处,引发多种呼吸道疾病。另外,PM2.5极易吸附多环芳烃等有机污染物和重金属,使致癌、致畸、致突变的概率明显升高,从而对人体健康造成重大危害。

Smog is composed of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and respirable particulate matter, where in the last one is the main pollutant. And when it comes to the respirable particulate matter, PM2.5 is the most harmful component, because its diameter is less than or equal to 2.5 μm, which is equivalent to 1/35 of an oriental’s hair diameter, and thus can penetrate the human respiratory system directly into the deep of the lungs, causing various respiratory diseases. In addition, PM2.5 is prone to adsorb organic pollutants and heavy metals, like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, significantly raising the carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic rates, and gravely harminghuman body.

2015年大气污染防治法正式出台,举国上下大气控制的各项管理措施和法案相继出台,废气处理以及监督监管机制力度逐级加大,由此将出现废气处理的巨大市场。

Air Pollution Prevention Law was formally passed in 2015, and acts and regulations of air pollution control have also been made across the whole country, increasing efforts to treat waste gas and supervise the process, and thus expanding a huge market of waste gas treatment.

Using the electrostatic technology of SNEP electrode to replace the traditional filters has great significance in reducing energy consumption and secondary pollution. It is easy to clean, and because ofits high efficiency, low wind resistance, low power consumption, and long life, it can thus be applied and promoted widely. It can be used in shopping malls, hotels, clubs, hospitals, office buildings, residential buildings, colleges and universities, exhibition halls, museums, stadiums and other places to protect public health. This technology uses a new type of composite material, namely the electrostatic electrode modified material, and antibacterial material. Using other patented technologies like EAT, the micro electrostatic dust collecting channel has electrostatic coagulation characteristics, and the fine particles are charged the opposite charge to form larger particles because of the coagulant effect and then be captured. It can trap very small particles like PM2.5, and it is also highly efficient in collecting 0.3 μm particles. SNEP is safe because there is no fire or ozone, efficient (up to 99.9%), and easy to clean because of its modular design, fully enclosed structure, and because it can be cleaned directly by water.

综合了现有主流且成熟的几种净化技术。在确保满足环保高效的前提下,对主动式和被动式净化的多种技术进行了长时间的研究和测试,最终选择了被动式的净化方式作为我们深化方向之一。采用一种“静电驻极的HEPA过滤网+活化处理的活性炭+无毒无扩散剂的抑菌层+类似多层织网结构的粗滤”等配置的复合滤网技术来进行深耕和研发,为此豹米科技联合美国3M公司共同开发了一款欧标达到H14级别的HEPA滤材——黑科技DURA-HEPA超积尘滤网,其具有两大特征,即超大容尘量,CCM指标可以超过国家标准P4的3倍,以及极致过滤效果,能针对PM0.3单次过滤效率达99.993%。

After analyzing present main mature purify technologies in the market, and on the premises of environmental protection and high efficiency, long term research and test on various technologies of active and passive purification was carried out. The passive psychical purification was finally chosen to be further developed. It’s a kind of static electricity HEPA filter + activating treatment activated carbon + nontoxic anti-bacteria material + multilayer reticular structure. Baomi Technology also cooperates with 3M company to develop a H14 (EU Level)HEPA filter material named Dura-HEPA Super dust retention filter, which has the following features:

①Super dust retention capacity, CCM index is 3 times bigger than national standard P4 level.

②Extreme filter effect, the single filtering effectiveness of PM0.3 is 99.993%.

PM0.3是对空气中直径小于或等于0.3微米的固体颗粒或液滴的总称,也称为可入肺颗粒物。PM0.3粒径小,富含大量的有毒、有害物质且在大气中的停留时间长、PM0.3飘散范围可超过1 000公里,因而对人体健康和大气环境质量的影响更大,PM0.3是最具穿透力的粒子,相比PM0.1等更小体积颗粒,PM0.3不受范德瓦尔斯和静电引力的影响。大颗粒的捕获机制同样对PM0.3影响小之又小。一些主流的国际组织评判滤网等级就是按照HEPA滤网对PM0.3的净化拦截效率来评判的。

PM0.3 refers to the solid particles or droplets whose diameter ≤ 0.3 μm, and is also named respirable particulate matter. It is minute, and rich in toxic and harmful substances, and it can suspend in the air for a long time and drift as far as 1 000 km, so it’s more harmful to the air or human body when compared with smaller particles like PM0.1 which are affected by Van der Waals’ force and electrostatic attraction. What makes it even worse is that it is also immune to the capture mechanism of large particles. That’s why some of the main international organizations judge the level of filters according to their PM0.3 capture rate.

智能在线空气质量监测平台技术

Intelligent On-line Air Quality Monitoring Technology

集中智能控制系统采用基于无线网络通信的方式,对全校空气净化设备进行实时不间断监控(也可自行设定监控时段),监测仪器自动采集净化设备运行数据及教室内PM2.5、挥发性有机物(VOC)、二氧化碳、温度、湿度等数据,通过无线网络或GPRS将数据传送到监控中心,监控中心的服务器将接收到的数据保存、显示、处理、查询、统计等。在分析数据时,如果发现空气净化设备运行异常,则将报警提醒,同时显示教室信息。实现自动化运行管理,以便及时发现问题,采取有效措施保证空气质量和学生学习环境质量,并为上海智慧城市校园空气质量大数据积累宝贵资料。

It is based on the wireless network communication to achieve real-time continuous monitoring of the air purification equipment (or during the set monitoring time). The monitors automatically collect the operation data,or those of the PM2.5, VOC, carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity in the classrooms, and then transmit them through the wireless network or GPRS to the monitoring center where the data are saved, displayed,processed, inquired about, and counted. During the analysis, alarms will be given whenever there is an equipment abnormality. Automatic operation and management can help to find problems in time, take effective measures to ensure the air quality of the classrooms and of the students’ learning environment, and accumulate valuable data for the big data of air quality of Smart Shanghai campuses.
